Remove Kaseya Agent Manually

. For Task Name, enter 'Uninstall Kaseya Agent'. Under Software to Deploy, ensure Location is set to From Software Repository. Select KaseyaRemoval as created above, from the Repository Item drop-down list. The Kaseya removal tool will now be deployed to any devices on which the Kaseya agent has been detected.

The ERA Agent can be uninstalled several ways.

Remote uninstallation using ERA Web Console

1.Log in to ERA Web Console.

2.From the Computers pane, select a computer from which you want to remove the ERA Agent and click New task.

Alternatively, select multiple computers by selecting the corresponding check boxes and then click Tasks > New task.

3.Type a Name for the task.

4.From the Task category drop-down menu select ESET Remote Administrator.

5.From the Task drop-down menu select Stop Managing (Uninstall ERA Agent).

6.Review the task Summary and click Finish.

Kaseya Agent Install

Trigger will be automatically created with ASAP execution. If you want to change the Trigger type, click Admin > Client Tasks. Expand the Client Task by clicking , click the Trigger below the task and select Edit.

Local uninstallation

1.Connect to the endpoint computer where you want to remove the ERA Agent (for example via RDP).

2.Navigate to Control Panel > Programs and Features and double-click ESET Remote Administrator Agent.

3.Click Next > Remove and follow the uninstallation instructions.

IMPORTANT: If you have set up a password using a policy for your ERA Agents, you will need to type the password during uninstallation. Alternatively, disable the policy first before uninstalling ERA Agent.

You can uninstall ERA Agent using ESET Uninstaller or using a non-standard way (such as removing files, removing the ERA Agent service and registry entries). First try the uninstall string

If this fails,

Kaseya Agent App

1. Stop the Kaseya Agent service
2. Set the Kaseya Agent service to “disabled”
3. Delete HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Services/KAPFA
4. Delete HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Services/KaseyaAgent
5. Reboot the machine (so that we can be sure that windows knows the service is disabled)
6. Delete c:program fileskaseya
7. Delete c:program FilesInstallShield Installation Information{48C76121-4F90-11D5-9884-0050BA85A903}
